GATE Biotechnology - Online Mock Test and Unit Test

Nature of Test

The nature of test is of multiple choice questions (MCQs). The test is divided into two parts:

• Unit-wise test
• Mock test

Unit-wise Test

There will be 10 unit-wise test papers. Each unit test paper shall contain fifty multiple choice questions (MCQs), each question carrying two marks. There will be negative marking and 2/3 mark will be deducted on each incorrect answer. Total marks of a unit test will be hundred and time allocated will be three hours.

Schedule

One can start with any unit test but can participate only one time and you are advised that you have to finish all your unit test before appearing for the mock test. As you finish your unit-wise test, it will evaluate how well you have understood those units.

Result and analysis of unit test

The result will be declared after completion of each unit test so that anybody can check and analyse the result. Apart from answer key (along with hint of analytical and numerical questions) - a comprehensive test analysis will be provided to evaluate your test preparation like score card, time taken to solve each question, percentage etc.

Mock Test

There will be total five mock test papers based on the pattern of GATE Biotechnology.

The schedule of Mock Test will be fixed.

Log-in time for mock test

10 A.M. to 10 P.M.

If anyone will miss the Log-in timings, then there is no chance to appear in Mock Test. The duration of the Mock Test is 3 hours (as per time of exam).

Result and analysis of mock test

The result will be declared on next day of each mock test (timings: 10 A.M.) and it will remain open for two days so that anybody can check and analyse the result. Apart from answer key (along with hint of analytical and numerical questions)-a comprehensive test analysis will be provided to evaluate your test preparation like All India Rank, score card, time taken to solve each question, percentage etc.

Medium of Examination

The medium of examination is only English.

By solving those questions one can understand the pattern of questions.
